THE PROCESS OF MILLING RECLAIMED WOOD
WHERE THE WOOD COMES FROM: Sources for the wood we reclaim have ranged from the back woods of the Appalachian mountains to the heart of Boston. Primarily, however, the wood we salvage comes from 19th-century industrial buildings and barns in the northeast. The vast majority of these buildings no longer meet contemporary building codes and are impractical for modern businesses to occupy. In many cases they represent a liability to their owners and to the communities around them. |

| Sometimes our material comes from odd places. We have resawn water tanks, pickle vats, huge doors, tobacco poles, crane mats, pilings and barges, to name a few. If it's interesting, we are interested. | |

WHAT WE MAKE: We produce and inventory finished products such as tongue and groove flooring, stair treads, counters and other millwork. We also sell rough-sawn material for projects such as cabinets, furniture and beams. Please call us to discuss the details of your specific project. |
