Mushroom Wood

These salvaged boards were last used as growing beds for mushrooms. As mushrooms grow, the mositure and enzymes releases into the compost eat away at the softer wood, leaving behind harder wood with a highly textured and striking grain. Back faces, edges and ends are unmilled.
