In addition to the custom milling of flooring, paneling and other millwork that we do on a daily basis for customers in need of a specific reclaimed wood product, Longleaf Lumber also has an ever-changing inventory of antique wood that is available now for customers who would like to meet their design needs with salvaged or reclaimed material that is available for immediate delivery.
A selection of our already-milled flooring that is in-stock and ready to ship. Please ask us about what is currently available for your project if don’t see what you are looking for as this list of Specials does not encompass our entire inventory.
Board & Beam Specials:
Available paneling, surfaced lumber and barn board. Some of this wood has been left ‘as-is’ to preserve its character while other lots are milled to reveal grain patterns and prepare boards for easier installation.
Architectural & Unusual Finds:
Some of the architectural salvage curiosities and unique discoveries that have been gathered over the many years that we’ve dismantled agricultural and industrial buildings here in the United States.
Occasionally, we have available a particular lot of reclaimed wood in a quantity substantial enough to warrant a Wholesale Special with unique pricing, and those opportunities are placed in this section.
Salvaged Redwood Slabs, Blocks & Bases:
Salvaged antique redwood bases, slabs, and fine grain blocks (when available) from the leftovers of past logging operations. All of our redwood is guaranteed salvaged from Northern California – none of our bases, stump pieces, or slabs are cut from fresh-felled trees.
Salvaged from Boston’s historic Charlestown Navy Yard and nearly 500 years old, these timbers are available ‘as-is’, cut into board stock, or as custom-milled material. We maintain a stock of hundreds of beams at our mill in Berwick, many with highly figured grain and all with unique curves.
