Selling Wood?
Longleaf Lumber buys high-grade reclaimed timber in board, beam, and log form. We do not deconstruct buildings at this time.
CONTRACTORS & BROKERS:
Although we are particularly interested in larger lots of material with a unique and rich historical background, we occasionally purchase small lots of mint-condition timber from interesting places. If it’s interesting, then we are interested. Our buyers operate primarily in the Eastern United States, although we do explore larger lots of quality material west of the Mississippi.
Please send an email to our wood buyer at [email protected] and include the following information:

HOMEOWNERS:
We understand and appreciate that there is potential value in wood that has been salvaged from small projects undertaken in private homes. Residential renovations and demolitions can yield original flooring, paneling, and beams. Unfortunately, we are typically unable to utilize this kind of salvaged lumber due to its condition, specific nature, and small lot size. In our Cambridge/Boston area, we suggest contacting The Reuse Center at Boston Building Resources and using online sales platforms such as Craigslist.
