Non-Reclaimed Flooring: Wood and Cork
In our efforts to continually explore lumber to be milled into flooring, paneling, and other products, we occasionally find material that is not reclaimed from buildings but still treads lightly on the planet. Environmentally friendly products have specifications that mitigate or preclude one or several of these negative effects: harm to existing forests and other ecosystems due to raw material acquisition, increases to landfills, high contributions to carbon footprint due to embodied energy during production and material transportation, production-related air and water pollution, and negative indoor air quality after installation.
This means we also offer, in additional to our standard reclaimed wood, responsible, durable, renewable, and natural-material products that we feel may be options for your consideration as you weigh how your project will impact the environment.

Visit us in the Boston area at our Cambridge, Massachusetts showroom and retail warehouse or at our Berwick, Maine showroom and mill. We welcome home and business owners, contractors, architects, and designers to see and feel many species of reclaimed flooring. At our showrooms, you can browse and pick up samples, inspect finished products, and talk with a salesperson.
