Salvaged Shoe Lasts
These antique hardwood shoe lasts were salvaged and reclaimed from a mill in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Once the standard for shoe manufacturing in the United States, hardwood shoe lasts are now only used for high-end, bespoke shoemaking. We’ve salvaged a variety of shoe lasts in different styles, finishes, and sizes. We keep a bin in stock at our Cambridge warehouse and showroom, and can make larger quantities available upon request.
These shoe lasts are used by craftspeople, artists, and homeowners for a variety of projects. We’ve seen customers transform these remarkable bits of history into coathangers, hat racks, door handles, paperweights, and more.
Price: $1.00 per shoe last.
Availability: Shoe lasts will be available for pickup or shipping from our showroom and mill in Berwick, Maine in the spring.
